THE APPIAN WAY
Maintaining timely coordination with all parties involved in the administration of the existing school and the permitting and construction of the proposed improvements in order to meet tight deadlines while minimizing the disturbance to the existing activities.
Appian was involved from the initial conceptual planning, site layout, special exception to allow the school expansion and completed all of the design and permitting for construction drawings. The plans were approved in late 2021, construction began shortly afterward, and the project was completed in August 2022 in time for the 2022-2023 start of the school year.
Several other key tasks we accomplished during the course of this project include designing and permitting the underground stormwater tanks to allow the increased impervious area onsite to allow for the new building, permitting the stormwater pond overflow through an FDOT Drainage Permit, Department of Health permit for the removal of the old septic field, and construction of the new septic tank and septic field.
